A former Penn State football player claims coach James Franklin retaliated against him after he reported a violent hazing incident in a federal lawsuit filed Tuesday. Isaiah Humphries, who was recruited by Penn State but eventually left the program, is suing Franklin and ex-teammate Damion Barber. However, these players are not named as defendants. The players also allegedly made reference to former coach Jerry Sandusky, who is serving a lengthy jail sentence for sexually abusing boys involved in his charity. The suit, which was filed by Humphries through his attorneys Steven F.

It's a sobering morning at Penn State University. Sandusky was the revered former defensive coach for the Penn State football team. He was found guilty last month of 45 counts of child sexual abuse. The Freeh Report concludes that some leaders of the university knew about Sandusky's behavior, but did not stop it. Good morning.
Thankfully for some Penn State Harrisburg students in the School of Behavioral Science and Education , several faculty and staff members came together before the summer began to help ensure students met their internship requirements, and provided them unique experiences that enriched their learning. Maria Turkson, associate professor of psychology, encouraged her students to contact their internship sites where they were already hired and ask if remote work was possible. While some students did find remote opportunities, others were left without a way to fulfill their credits. Turkson contacted several offices at the college about the possibility of providing internship experiences. Several staff members agreed to help, including Perdeta Bush, equity and compliance specialist in the Division of Student Affairs.
